The new Casio EXS7 camera delivers quality images that can be shared on a variety of social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. Whether on-the-go or spending quality time with friends and family, the photo taking and sharing experience is fun and occurs at the touch of a button. Complementing any style, this digital camera comes in a variety of dazzling colors.

The Casio EX-s7 camera features it’s celebrated Dynamic Photo, a Hollywood-like green-screen effect which adds animated graphics into still photos where users can create unique e-greetings to share with friends and family.

Dynamic Photo gives the power to create original and artistic visuals that can be emailed, posted on social networks and even printed out at home.

Developed with Casio’s latest Exilim Engine 5.0, which delivers higher image quality and lower power consumption, this camera is a 12.1 effective megapixel digital camera with a 3X optical zoom lens and a 2.7 inch, high-quality LCD screen. With a quick-access dedicated movie button, users can record memorable moments in 720p high-definition (HD). Additionally, this is compatible with SD memory cards.

This camera has made even further advances from its Engine 4.0, which contained both an ordinary CPU and a high-speed dedicated image processing CPU.

The new Engine 5.0 increases image processing speed by 30% and produces beautiful images through advanced color reproduction and rich tonal gradation and by removing noise from photos in high sensitivity mode.

Casio has achieved great advancements in Dynamic Photo, a function that creates “moving photos” by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting and combining those images on a different still image. In addition to composites made with a still image background, cut-out moving images can now be pasted on other moving images. This new capability raises the power of expression of images. Thus, while increasing the “fun of creating images,” these models will also increase the “fun of sharing images” by making it easy to upload images to YouTube using the included software or post them to a blog.

This camera is a 12.1 effective megapixel model with a 3X optical zoom lens, and its slim body (.78 inches at the thinnest point) won’t take up much room in a pocket or purse. The new Casio camera automatically detects people’s faces, allowing users to take well focused and beautifully exposed pictures of the faces of their intended subjects. Using easy Mode, photo settings are restricted to just image size, flash on/off and self timer, and these are displayed on a simplified menu screen.

With much excitement, Casio’s highly anticipated EX-FC150, featuring 10.1MP, 5X optical zoom lens and Casio’s exclusive High Speed capture technologies, has arrived to North America. The new Casio EX-FC150 makes using High Speed capture easier. By combining two popular modes found in its predecessor, the EX-FC100, the Casio Exilim FC150 is equipped with easy-to-use shutter-lag eliminating Best Shot scene modes. By automating Casio’s High Speed Pre-Recording and lightning-fast Continuous Burst modes into five simple Best Shot modes, The Casio Exilim EX-FC150 ensures the shot is never missed.

The Casio S7 will disappoint those looking for minimal lens flaws and fast shot-to-shot times, but performs well as a budget camera.

Casio’s Exilim EX-S7 is an entry-level ultra-compact camera with a nice set of features and very good overall performance. It lacks a little in image quality as there is a lot of softness on the right side of the images.

The new Casio Exilim EX-Z800 sports advanced features in a slim, compact and stylish body, including a Single Frame SR Zoom that extends the zoom range. The Casio EX-Z800 camera makes use of the Exilim Engine 5.0 and super resolution technology to take photos with exceptional clarity and resolution.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z800 is compact enough to fit in the palm of the hand. The Casio EX-Z800 sports a 4X optical zoom lens that starts at a 27 mm wide-angle view (35 mm film camera equivalent) and is capable of taking images with an effective resolution of 14.1 megapixels, while packing numerous other camera features such as Casio’s CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism in a slim, compact and stylish body.

The EX-Z800 has everything you need in any situation and guarantees outstanding photos.

The lens, LCD monitor and buttons of the Casio EX-Z800 are flat to achieve a compact body that fits the contours of the hand. The Casio Exilim EX-Z800 comes in six different colors, ranging from basic black and silver to vivid pink, red, yellow, and blue. The polished finish of the camera gives it an elegant yet dynamic look. The new Casio camera features dedicated Shoot, View and Delete buttons that provide access to each of the basic operations of a digital camera, so that even beginners will find the digital camera easy to use. Casio’s unique Dynamic Photo function creates composite moving images, making it possible to have multiple characters moving independently of each other against a background of moving images up to as long as 20 seconds. The Art Effect function takes saved images and makes them look like artwork. These features make it possible to enjoy photos in a way that is only possible with a Casio digital camera.

Premium Auto enables the camera to automatically analyze the scene being photographed – including distinguishing night scenes, back lighting, a blue sky, green trees or a sunset – as well as sensing whether there is a face in the frame, the movement and position of the subject, and whether a tripod is being used. It simultaneously optimizes settings for exposure, ISO, sensitivity, focus location, photo blur correction, tonal range and color balance, and level of noise reduction. Images are analyzed pixel by pixel to apply different correction to people and backgrounds. Premium Auto delivers an advanced level of full auto photography, ensuring high quality photos with just a press of the shutter button.

The Casio Z800 camera offers Casio’s original Dynamic Photo function, which makes it easy for users to create “moving photos” right on the camera by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting, and combining those images on a different still or moving image background. With Dynamic Photo on the new Casio camera, it is possible to make multiple characters move independently of each other against a background of moving images up to as long as 20 seconds. These capabilities not only make it more fun to create images, but also offer the fun of sharing images by making it easy to upload images to YouTube using the included software or post them to a blog.

Reviews

Ephotozine reviews the Casio EX-Z800 and writes:
“I found the EX-Z800 to be quite a responsive camera, focusing quickly in most conditions. The face detection system works very well also, locking onto faces in the scene very swiftly. Images have pleasing contrast and color saturation in most cases, making them ideal for print straight from the camera. The image quality only degrades further as the ISO is increased, but results are still fair until ISO1600“
This camera features it’s unique Dynamic Photo function that lets users edit and combine different moving images right on the camera.

Our Rating ****~ (4/5)

Good: Broader than average zoom range yet fairly compact dimensions, well constructed, large high resolution LCD monitor

Bad: No HDMI output, optical zoom disabled when recording video

This is a 14.1 megapixel digital camera.

This camera is a 14.1 megapixel high-performance digital camera driven by it’s newly developed Exilim Engine 5.0. Great advancements have been achieved in the Dynamic Photo function, which enables users to cut out images of a moving subject and paste them on a different still image that acts as a background. With the powerful Casio H15, moving images can be combined not only on a still image but also on other moving images. This new capability increases the power of expression of images even more than before. Going further, this camera does not only increase the “fun of creating images,” but also increases the “fun of sharing images” by, for instance, making it easy to upload composite moving images to YouTube using the included software or post them to a blog.

H15 features a Premium Auto function
The Casio Exilim H15 digital camera also comes with Premium Auto, which is a state-of-the-art, fully automatic function that enables users to take beautiful photos just by pushing the shutter button. Premium Auto automatically adjusts to achieve optimal image quality by discerning the point of focus and the type of scene, whether a night scene, a backlit scene, or a sunset. This camera processes the image according to the details in the frame, for instance, by making different corrections for human subjects and background.

The Casio Exilim high speed digital camera
Thanks to the high-speed image-processing capability of this camera, moving subjects can be dynamically “cut out” and pasted into a different still shot that forms the background. Before this technology was introduced by Casio in 2009, this Hollywood-like green-screen effect was only possible with professional equipment or software, but this technology is available in the Casio EX-H15 as an in-camera process. The Casio’s Dynamic Photo feature was further enhanced through the ability to add animation art stored on the memory card to still photos captured by the camera. These animated images can be emailed, posted on social networks and even printed out at home!

Image processor
The Casio has made even further advances from its Exilim Engine 4.0, which contained both an ordinary CPU and a high-speed dedicated image processing CPU. The new Engine 5.0 increases image processing speed by 30% and produces beautiful images through advanced color reproduction and rich tonal gradation and by removing noise from photos in high sensitivity mode.

Digital Compact Camera
“The Casio is proud to introduce the Casio H15 as a new addition to the Exilim line of digital cameras powered by Casio’s high-speed technologies,” said Toshi Iguchi, senior general manager of Casio’s Digital Imaging Division. “The Casio continues to create digital cameras that enhance the photo taking and sharing experience while also providing consumers with convenience, accessibility and quality packed into a slim, sleek body.”

Dynamic Photo feature on the Casio EX-H15
The Casio has achieved great advancements in Dynamic Photo, a function that creates “moving photos” by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting and combining those images on a different still image. In addition to composites made with a still image background, cut-out moving images can now be pasted on other moving images. This new capability on the Casio H15 raises the power of expression of images. Thus, while increasing the “fun of creating images,” the Exilim H15 will also increase the “fun of sharing images” by making it easy to upload images to YouTube using the included software or post them to a blog.

This digital camera is well worth the $300US price tag. Its is an all around good camera for indoor and outdoor shooting, and has a usable high-speed shooting options for the kids sporting events. Not to mention the 10x zoom will bring Mt. Rushmore that much closer on the family vacation. Add to that some cool and fun to use art filters, the Dynamic Photo process and making some classic silent movies, and one wonders what more you could ask for?..Oh yea it will fit in a pocket to boot!”

PCW.uk reviews the Casio Exilim EX-H15 and writes:
“Photos were bright and colourful though displayed a loss of sharpness towards edge of the frame at maximum wide-angle setting. Pixel fringing was also visible on very close inspection, but both these faults are common to small cameras. “
Rating: ★★★★☆

ePhotozine writes:
“Image quality is good for a camera in this price range and the Premium Auto mode makes picture taking in many differing conditions easy. Add this to the excellent auto white-balance and noise performance and you have yourself a high zoom compact camera worthy of some consideration”

The Casio Exilim EX FH100 is a 10.1 effective megapixel high-speed digital camera boasting a wide-angle 24 mm 10x optical zoom lens in a compact body that makes it easy to carry anywhere. It also gives users a maximum burst rate of 40 shots per second for still images (maximum image size of 9.0 megapixels and maximum shooting capacity of 30 shots) that can now be used to photograph distant subjects thanks to the high-power zoom. The Casio FH100 also enables up to 1,000 fps high-speed movie recording that captures motion that is ordinarily too fast for the human eye to see. The Casio EX-FH100 allows users ranging from advanced amateur photographers to beginners to enjoy high-speed burst shooting. It is equipped with a mode dial that enables manual exposure burst shooting and also has a mode that makes high-speed burst shooting easy, a feature that sets the burst shooting speed to the optimal rate just by selecting the type of scene. With the Casio Exilim FH100, Casio also achieves low-noise, high-quality photography even in dim indoor lighting by using a highly sensitive CMOS sensor.

The Casio Exilim EX-FH100 features a high-power zoom lens in a compact body measuring just 105.0 mm wide x 63.2 mm tall x 29.9 mm thick. The lens delivers all the freedom of zoom photography – from a wide-angle 24 mm to a 10X optical zoom that brings distant subjects right up close. The Casio EX-FH100 can take up to 30 shots of 9.0 megapixel high-resolution images with high-speed burst shooting at a maximum speed of 40 shots per second. What is more, if the digital camera is set to Prerecord Continuous Shutter, users will not miss those critical moments even if they press the shutter a little late, since the camera starts shooting when the shutter button is only depressed halfway. The Casio Exilim EX-FH100 can record high-speed movies of motion that is ordinarily too fast for the human eye to see. Users can select a recording speed of 1,000 fps, 420 fps, 240 fps, or 120 fps.

The new Casio Exilim camera also has a mode that lets users to switch to high-speed recording at 240 fps or 120 fps by pressing a single button during normal movie recording (30 fps). High-speed recording allows users to enjoy dramatic, ultra slow-motion playback. The EX-FH100 also features an HD video function. Just press the dedicated Movie button to take beautiful movies at 1280×720 pixels. The camera is equipped with an HDMI terminal and stereo microphone, which enable users to enjoy a beautiful picture and realistic sound by connecting the camera to a large display TV.

Thanks to the high-speed image-processing capability of the Casio Exilim FH100, moving subjects can be dynamically “cut out” and pasted into a different still shot that forms the background. Before this technology was introduced by Casio in 2009, this Hollywood-like green-screen effect was only possible with professional equipment or software, but this technology is available in the Casio EX-FH100 as an in-camera process. Casio’s Dynamic Photo feature was further enhanced through the ability to add animation art stored on the memory card to still photos captured by the camera. These animated images can be emailed, posted on social networks and even printed out at home!

Casio continues the quest for ever-higher picture quality, the foundation of every camera’s performance. The Casio EX-FH100 incorporates a back-illuminated CMOS sensor that boasts nearly twice the usual sensitivity. This lets users take beautiful photos outside as well as high-quality, low-noise photos indoors or in other dim lighting. And of course, the Casio FH100 also comes with CMOS-shift image stabilization. With the Casio Exilim FH100, users can take beautiful photos – even of human subjects at night – without worrying about photo blur. The camera can do this by internally combining images taken with a single press of the shutter button using highly sensitive high-speed burst shooting with the flash into a single, crystal-clear image.

“HD quality was also impressive, but the sensor shift image stabilization was not sufficient and we couldn’t optically zoom in while shooting. These are two major blows to the Casio Exilim EX-FH100’s high-definition well being, so we couldn’t really recommend the HD video mode over any of the EX-FH100’s competitors.“

“The FH100 is obviously a great camera for capturing fast-moving subjects and helping you not to miss that decisive moment, with an almost overwhelming array of different options and shooting modes on offer. The ability to take 40 images in one second at the touch of a button is amazing for any camera, DSLR or compact, and if you can’t choose the best shot, then the EX-FH100 can do that for you too. The only slight downsides are the small reduction in resolution to 9 megapixels, which applies to all of this camera’s high-speed still image functions, and the fact that you can actually only record 30 images at that headline-grabbing 40fps.”

The Casio Exilim EX-Z33 digital camera is available in a range of colours including silver, black, blue and two shades of pink. The body design is as basic as the specification, a plain plastic case with an aluminium fascia and very simple controls. It’s a very light camera weighing just 122g including battery and memory card, and measuring only 94.1 x 56.1 x 18.1mm it’s slim enough to slip into a shirt pocket.

This camera is a new 10.1-megapixel ultra-compact with a 3x zoom lens and a 2.5-inch 230k LCD monitor. It has a pretty basic spec with minimal features

Blur detection on the Casio EXILIM EX-Z33 Digital Camera
The Casio Exilim EX-Z33 digital camera can automatically take a photo the instant that hand shake or subject movement stops, even without the need to push the shutter button. This reduces photo blur caused by the movement involved in pressing the shutter.

The Casio Exilim Z33 will also automatically release the shutter at the moment of a smile or the moment subject blur ceases in a panning shot. A shot can also be taken the moment the user’s face fills the frame when taking a self-portrait.

The Casio EXILIM Z33 features face recognition. The Face Detection function on this digital camera allows users to detect the presence of people’s faces, and then, prior to shooting, the digital camera automatically recognizes the pre-registered face or faces that should be most clearly photographed, and gives those faces priority for correct focus and exposure.

Casio EX-Z33 digital camera operation
The settings menu in the easy mode has been pared down to just three items – flash, self timer and image size – making it even for beginners easy to understand and use the Casio Z33. The Casio Exilim Z33 digital camera comes with a highly visible 2.5 inch widescreen display. Information on camera settings is displayed in the “Control Panel” on the right hand edge of the screen, so settings can be changed quickly and easily.

The Casio EX-Z33 camera offers YouTube Capture Mode, which records and saves movies at the ideal settings for the world’s largest video sharing site, YouTube. Recorded video can be easily uploaded to YouTube using the special included computer software.

Reviews

TrustedReviews reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z33 and writes:
“For a cheap budget compact the Casio Exilim EX-Z33 offers decent build quality, simplicity of use and surprisingly good performance, but its very poor low light focusing and disappointing image quality are serious handicaps. Better to save up a few more pounds and get something a bit more capable.”

CNET writes:
“The good: Good photo quality for the money; one-button video capture. The bad: Slow shooting performance; short battery life. The bottom line: As long as you and your subject aren’t in a hurry, the Casio Exilim is a respectable budget-priced ultracompact.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆

Steve’sDigicams reviews the Casio Exilim EX-Z33 and writes:
“For an entry-level camera, the low and mid ISO settings are very good. ISO 64 – 400 are sharp enough to show fine details, such as the stitching in the flag, while noise doesn’t become apparent until ISO 400. Although the noise at ISO 1600 really hurts the quality of the image, ISO 800 is not too bad and works for smaller prints.”

The Casio Exilim EX-Z550 is 14.1 effective megapixel high-performance digital camera driven by it’s newly developed Engine 5.0. Great advancements have been achieved in the Dynamic Photo function, which enables users to cut out images of a moving subject and paste them on a different still image that acts as a background. With this camera, moving images can be combined not only on a still image but also on other moving images.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z550 digital camera delivers high performance with a compact, stylish look. The new high performing Casio camera with 10.1 million effective pixels takes high definition photographs. The Casio Z33 camera features a stylish design contained within a compact size For a cheap budget compact the Casio Exilim EX-Z33 offers decent build quality, simplicity of use and surprisingly good performance, but its very poor low light focusing and disappointing image quality are serious handicaps. Better to save up a few more pounds and get something a bit more capable.

This camera is a new 10.1-megapixel ultra-compact with a 3x zoom lens and a 2.5-inch 230k LCD monitor. It has a pretty basic spec with minimal features, but if you’re on a tight budget (and aren’t we all these days?) it’s enough for basic snapshots.

Good: Fairly priced, ably constructed plus pocket-sized dimensions ensure easy transport, and we liked the inclusion of a dedicated video record button too.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z550 also comes with Premium Auto, which is a state-of-the-art, fully automatic function that enables users to take beautiful photos just by pushing the shutter button. Premium Auto automatically adjusts to achieve optimal image quality by discerning the point of focus and the type of scene, whether a night scene, a backlit scene, or a sunset. It processes the image according to the details in the frame, for instance, by making different corrections for human subjects and background

The Casio Exilim EX-Z550 features a wide-angle 26 mm 4X optical zoom lens and a clear 2.7-inch LCD screen. A 14.1 effective megapixel model, it is equipped with CCD-shift image stabilization and HD Movie function.

Dynamic Photo: Make composite images of different moving images
Casio has achieved great advancements in Dynamic Photo, a function that creates “moving photos” by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting and combining those images on a different still image. In addition to composites made with a still image background, cut-out moving images can now be pasted on other moving images. This new capability raises the power of expression of images. Thus, while increasing the “fun of creating images,” these models will also increase the “fun of sharing images” by making it easy to upload images to YouTube™ using the included software or post them to a blog.

Premium Auto: Take beautiful photos just by pressing the shutter button
This function enables the camera to automatically analyze the scene being photographed — including distinguishing night scenes, back lighting, a blue sky, green trees, or a sunset — as well as sensing whether there is a face in the frame, the movement and position of the subject, and whether a tripod is being used. It simultaneously optimizes settings for exposure, ISO sensitivity, point of focus, photo blur correction, tonal range and color balance, and level of noise reduction. Premium Auto is a state-of-the-art, fully automatic function that makes it easy for users to take superior quality photos just by pushing the shutter button, by analyzing the image at the level of individual pixels and performing different corrections for human subjects and the background.

Steve’sDigicams reviews writes:
“I was impressed that the EX-Z550’s flash unit was able to illuminate our indoor shots well, and even thought the camera choose ISO 400 most of the time, photos still look nice.“
Rating: N/A

PhotographyBlog reviews the Casio EX-Z550 and writes:
“Mostly the Casio EX-Z550 acquits itself well when it comes to delivering even exposures. Colours are generally well saturated and brought the best out of the scene before the lens at any given time – all that one can really ask for from a point and shoot model.“
Rating: ★★★★☆

ITReviews reviews the Casio EX-Z550 and writes:
“Picture quality throughout is good without being exceptional, and certainly well within the expectations of this price bracket.”
Rating: N/A

Pocket-lint reviews the Casio EX-Z550 and writes:
“The Casio Exilim EX-Z550 is an inexpensive, easy to use, snapper that allows you to do a little bit more with your images – and videos – within the camera than your bog standard £100 budget-priced compact. Little extras that reveal its manufacturer’s consumer electronics heritage include the handy inclusion of the video record button, making it easy to swap modes in a thrice.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

The 9.1 effective megapixels of Casio Exilim Z250 digital camera delivers beautiful high resolution images and outstanding functionality made possible by a new Casio imaging engine for high speed image processing. The Casio Z250 combines high resolution and high speed image processing to produce beautiful photos of people and night scenes.

The new Casio Z250 is a high resolution model, and it boasts excellent resolving power, offering precise, smooth rendering of images. The image processing speed and power of its new engine make possible entirely new functions that deliver fantastic photos of people’s faces, night scenes and other subjects that have challenged photographers for years. The Casio Z250 automatically detects and corrects for difficult situations, such as night scene photography where camera shake could be a problem, or backlit subjects where faces often come out too dark.

Casio Exilim Z250 renders smooth images with less noise. The Casio Z250 is a high quality digital camera with excellent functionality that allows users to take beautiful pictures of people’s faces and night scenes. Thanks to Casio’s original image processing technologies, this camera achieves an extremely precise, smooth rendering of high-resolution images, reducing a great deal of noise in pictures taken at high sensitivity levels. This is the result of Casio’s pursuit of the beautiful image quality that users expect from a camera with very high resolution.

Engine 3.0
This is an image processing module that packages a new, dedicated high speed image processing CPU (central processing unit) with the high performance CPU used to date. Digital cameras are constantly developing and evolving new levels of “beautiful imagery” and “convenient shooting functions.” This new module quickly processes complex images, making it possible for customers to shoot and view wonderful photos with simplicity and ease.

Tele photo shooting and Night scenes
The lens zooms from 28mm to 112mm (35mm film camera equivalent). Users can enjoy a wide range of shooting options, from wide angle photography that is convenient when shooting large objects or many people in a small space, to telephoto shooting which brings distant subjects close. The Exilim Z250 can automatically detect night situations where there would normally be camera shake if a tripod wasn’t used. Users get clear, bright photographs of both people and night scenes as the camera compensates for camera shake.

Casio EX-Z250 captures beautiful portraits
This all means that users get great, well-balanced photos of family and friends against any background with no more worry than it takes to press the shutter button. The EX-Z250 digital camera also features a Makeup function that creates beautiful photographs of people’s faces: high end image processing can smooth skin and soften facial shadows caused by sunlight. The photographer gets to choose to apply such image processing at one of twelve levels, from weak through strong, and can shoot while checking the results of the effects in the LCD monitor. At last, a camera that brings out all the beauty of the human face, creating images worthy of keeping forever as special memories.

The Casio Exilim S200 digital camera sports advanced features in a slim, compact and stylish body, including a Single Frame SR Zoom that extends the zoom range. The new Casio EX-S200 camera makes use of the Exilim Engine 5.0 and super resolution technology to take photos with exceptional clarity and resolution.

The is a slim, high-quality, card-sized camera that is just 17.8 mm thick and only 14.9 mm at its thinnest part. This camera sports a 4X optical zoom lens that starts at a 27 mm wide-angle view (35 mm film camera equivalent) and is capable of taking images with an effective resolution of 14.1 megapixels, while packing numerous other camera features such as Casio’s CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism in a slim, compact and stylish body.

The Exilim S200 is described as a lifestyle camera by Casio, due to the inclusion of features to aid ease of use and due to it’s slim, compact dimensions.

A 14 megapixel CCD sensor lies at the heart of the EX-S200, which should provide images with ample resolution for very large prints. A 4x zoom lens covering a useful range equivalent to 27-108mm does the job of forming an image, and image stabilisation is taken care of by a CCD shift mechanism, which should allow sharp images to be taken at slower shutter speeds. To extend the zoom range further, Casio have included a feature which reduces the resolution once the zoom has reached it’s telephoto limit, rather than upsampling the image like traditional digital zoom system do. This should give very little loss of quality in practice.

This camera uses a flat lens barrel and lens ring to achieve a thin and stylish card-sized body that smoothly combines contrasting geometric shapes.

The new Casio camera was designed with an emphasis on functionality and simplicity, achieving a design that is at once elegant and understated. This digital camera comes in five different colors: silver, orange, blue, black, and pink. The Quick Mode function powers on the camera with a press of the shutter button, previews a photo after shooting, and automatically powers down. Combined with the portability of the card-sized body, Quick Mode ensures that the user will never miss a photo opportunity.

The Casio S200 camera offers Casio’s original Dynamic Photo function, which makes it easy for users to create “moving photos” right on the camera by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting, and combining those images on a different still or moving image background.

This digital camera uses super resolution technology to analyze and optimally process the respective areas of the photo.

The S200 camera uses super resolution technology to respectively enhance edges, flat areas and textures when enlarging images, by analyzing and adjusting the contours in images and the relief of the subject. The Single Frame SR Zoom extends the maximum telephoto range of the optical zoom up to 1.5 times, while reducing image quality degradation. The Casio Exilim EX-S200 offers a 6X zoom range that maintains image quality for 14.1-megapixel high-resolution photography when using the optical zoom with the Single Frame SR Zoom.

Reviews

Ephotozine reviews writes:
“The EX-S200 produces images with no significant noise up to ISO200, where a little noise starts to creep into the shadows, but the levels are still quite low and won’t really affect the quality of printed images. A 14 megapixel sensor as found in the EX-200 will be quite demanding on the quality of the lens.“
Rating: ★★★★☆

PhotographyBlog writes:
“This isn’t the camera to buy if you’re looking for the best ever image quality, especially when used in low-light conditions, but the EX-S200 does produce well-exposed and accurate photos that will please the majority of its target audience.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

“The Casio S200 is slimmer than your average compact camera, but it turned in only average performance with significant noise at ISO 400.“
Featuring sensor-shift image stabilisation, the Casio EX-FH25 can capture photographs at up to 30 frames per second (fps) and a resolution of 9 megapixels.

Product Information

HIGH SPEED MOVIE
Video Capture at up to 1,000 fps
The Casio Exilim EX-FH25 is the next evolution of digital imaging. This feature allows you to easily shoot ultra slow-motion movies at speeds that have until now been available only on professional level cameras. Imagine capturing dramatic moments that cannot be seen by the naked eye, making the invisible visible.

Settings for 210fps, 420fps and variable 30-210fps are also included with the camera. While 30-210fps is selected, you can toggle the movie recording speed between 30fps and 210fps, giving you the versatility to match recording speed to the action.

HIGH SPEED BURST
Up to 40 fps at full resolution
The EX-FH25 can shoot at an amazing 40 frames per second in High Speed Burst mode. This allows you to capture up to 40 images with a single press of the button. After the images have been taken you simply save one, two or all of the images to capture the perfect moment.

20X OPTICAL ZOOM
Incredible zoom with digital stabilization
20X optical zoom combines with a CMOS shift stabilization for beautiful images even at high zoom factors where images are prone to blurring.

FLASH CONTINUOUS SHOOTING
Continuous shutter even where lighting is dim
An ultra wide angle 26mm lens reaching to 520mm allows a wide range of capture options. An Ultra wide angle lens allows for capture of grand vistas, or confined interior shots with not much room to maneuver. Its 20X long zoom with anti-shake will reach out to bring subjects into full view without the need for cumbersome tripods.

BACK ILLUMINATED CMOS
Metal wiring compromising the effectiveness of the light-sensitive area was moved to the back of the photo sensor, thus increasing the light gathering efficiency of the sensor. The result is increased light sensitivity and faster shutter speeds in low light situations, resulting in a more pleasing picture quality.

PRERECORD CS
High-speed recording of action that occurs before you press the shutter button
The EX-FH25 allows you to capture the perfect moment even if you press the button too late. With the amazing pre-record function the camera begins taking pictures before you fully press the button giving you the ability to virtually travel back in time so that you never miss the action. This function works by storing up to 40 images in a buffer on the camera. When the button is pressed the images in the buffer are saved along with your newly recorded imagery.

HIGH-DEFINITION MOVE
DVD-quality video
The EX-FH25 lets you shoot beautiful 1280 x 720-pixel HD movies at a rate of 30 frames per second. After your video is recorded you can view it by connecting your camera directly to a Full HD TV for big screen viewing. The EX-FH25 also comes with USB cables and software that allows you to view your HD films on your computer or to burn them to a DVD.

BEST SHOT CONTINUOUS
Casio’s exclusive Pre-Record Mode begins recording images with a half-press of the shutter. When you’re ready to capture action, press the shutter fully and High Speed Technology starts a Continuous Burst Mode that continues recording after the shutter button has been fully depressed. Now Casio combined both modes into fully automated and easy to use Best Shot scene modes. Pick your scene type and you’ll never miss a shot due to shutter lag ever again!

FACE DETECTION
Put a better face on your images with automatic Face Detection technology. Our camera adjusts instantly for optimum focus and background even if your subject is backlit or in front of a patterned backdrop. Moving targets? No problem. The camera will capture kids and pets on the go in the sharpest detail.

Reviews

ePhotozine reviews writes:

“Even without these extras, the EX-FH25 proved itself a capable camera in testing, producing images of good quality in a wide range of conditions. If this camera ticks all the boxes for features, then the £300 price tag should represent good value for you.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

Steves-digicams reviews writes:

“Video can be captured on the FH25 in two different ways. You can capture standard video with sound at standard 480p and 720p resolutions (30fps). These movies produce good exposure and color with little compression noise. The playback is fairly smooth and easy to watch. The camera’s built-in mic is very sensitive and will pick up all sounds that are around the camera.”
Rating: N/A

Pocket-lint reviews writes:

“There’s the choice of shooting full resolution, Fine quality JPEGs or Fine JPEGs plus RAW; the latter option only selectable outside of the BestShot or full auto modes. With a half press of the shutter release button there’s a brief pause while the FH25 determines focus and exposure, followed by imperceptible shutter lag as you go on to take the shot.. Colours are realistically rendered, though we did find white balance drifting from shot to shot when shooting daylight interiors, and pixel fringing in evidence if looking closely at areas of high contrast.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

CNET.uk reviews the writes:

“With the Exilim EX-FH25, Casio’s produced a camera that excels at capturing fast-moving action in a way that no other superzoom can. It has a decent lens that produces above-average sharpness at long range, too. There are a few faults, but none which seriously detract from the camera’s overall appeal.”
