The Casio Exilim EX-G1 is the world’s slimmest shock-resistant, waterproof, dustproof digital camera. The Casio EX-G1 is designed with shock-resistant elements throughout the camera, both inside and out, creating a smart look in a slim-line camera with functional beauty.

While Casio has been in the consumer electronics business since the company was founded in 1957, their first Exilim digital camera reached market fairly recently in 2002. Expanding upon their “card”, “zoom” and “high speed” camera product lines, the company has recently introduced the “G” or “endurance” line with this compact digital camera. The G1, billed as the world’s slimmest shock-resistant digital camera, builds upon Casio’s earlier forays into durable products with watches and mobile phones.

The Casio Exilim EX-G1 is an unusual-looking camera and stands out even among the rivet-studded crowd of other adventure cameras. The Casio EX-G1 has a futuristic-looking wedge-shaped design with excitingly-styled recessed controls, and generally looks like a prop from a sci-fi movie, especially with the optional plastic guard attached. Two different guards are supplied, complete with screws to fit them, but you’ll need a small jeweller’s screwdriver and a steady hand for the job. Although it’s larger than most of Casio’s other ultra-compacts, it’s a very slim for an adventure camera, measuring 103.5 x 64.2 x 19.9mm. It weighs 154g including battery and card, which makes it feel quite dense for its size. The G1 is available in bright red or charcoal grey.

The EX-G1, Casio also offers its unique Dynamic Photo Mode, which allows you to cut a subject out of a shot and superimpose it on top of a different picture or background. This mode actually works quite well, providing that you take the first shot (the picture of the subject) in front of a neutral background; the camera has a bit more trouble extracting subjects from unevenly lit or otherwise complex backgrounds.

The buttons on the EX-G1 are straightforward, well spaced, and easy to press. On the top of the camera, next to the power button and the shutter button, is the “Best Shot” button, which you press to access all of the camera’s automatic shooting modes. You can choose from 25 automatic shooting modes, including Snow, Sports, Pet, Sundown, Underwater, and Portrait; the closest you’ll get to any manual controls is an “Auto” mode that lets you adjust white balance, exposure compensation, ISO, flash, and a few other in-camera settings.

The EX-G1 has about 35MB of internal memory, so if you can’t get the door open or don’t have a microSD card handy, you’ll be able to capture only about four high resolution images. A 4GB microSDHC card can hold about 490 of the same size/quality images or record 52 minutes and 45 seconds of standard (640 x 480) movies.

The Exilim EX-G1 features a 3X-optical-zoom lens (38mm to 114mm), a 2.5-inch LCD screen, and a variety of preset “Best Shot” modes. It’s delightfully tiny at just 5.4 ounces and 0.78 inches thick–Casio says it’s the slimmest shockproof camera on the market. This camera takes MicroSD and MicroSDHC cards, and it’s available in black or red.

REVIEWS

engadget.com reviews writes:

“So, the Exilim G likely won’t win over any professionals or would-be professionals looking for a compact camera to complement their DSLR, but we can’t help but be a bit charmed by it. Its combination of slimness and ruggedness makes it more “grabbable” than most cameras and, in the old sense that the best camera is the one you have with you, that’s not an insignificant consideration. One thing’s for sure, we’ll be looking forward to Casio’s follow-up to the camera, and hoping all the while that it comes with a sensor that’s a better match for the camera’s rugged good looks. “

imaging-resource.com reviews writes:

“The Casio EX-G1 joins a number of other rugged snapshot cameras on the market with its shockproof, waterproof, dustproof, and freezeproof body. From previous experience, none of these “4-proof” (a term borrowed from Fujifilm) cameras deliver outstanding image quality and the same is true for the Casio EX-G1. Although its images aren’t outstanding, in most cases they are well-exposed and, despite some softness, look good printed–particularly for snapshot sized prints. Despite its extremely slow shot-to-shot time, the Casio EX-G1 is no slouch when it comes to snapping a photo–shutter lag seems so low (0.23s to 0.28s) I want to say it has none at all. With a full complement of Best Shot scene modes and a few unique features such as still and movie interval shooting, the Casio EX-G1 is easy to use and can be a fun creative tool as well.”

photographyblog.com reviews writes:

“So the Casio EX-G1 is a camera of two halves; where it is fast to respond in some areas it is slight irritating as regards others. Don’t expect any more than a cool looking snapper and you won’t be disappointed. But can the same be said of this Casio’s image quality?”

trustedreviews.com reviews writes:

“Despite its unconventional appearance the Exilim EX-G1 is actually a very competent adventure camera with class-leading shock protection. It’s a bit light on advanced features and the performance could be better, but it is easy to use and the image quality is much better than expected.”

cnet.com reviews writes:

“The Casio Exilim EX-G1 is a good snapshot camera built to take a beating, but its photos and shooting features are nothing special.”

The Casio EX-H20G is equipped with a Hybrid-GPS system that combines a GPS engine with autonomic positioning made possible by a motion sensor. The system sets a new standard for geotagging and offers exciting new ways to use a digital camera.

With the new EXILIM Engine HS, the Casio EX-H20G features all of the essential capabilities expected from a camera. When used with Casio’s Single Frame SR Zoom function, the 24mm wide-angle, 10X optical zoom lens actually offers a 15X zoom range that maintains the image quality needed for 14.1-megapixel high-resolution photography.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z200, while naturally offering significant enhancements in function and performance, focuses on style with a new body shape that keeps height to a minimum and exudes a sense of premium design quality. With its newly developed lens, the Casio Z200 camera gives users the freedom to enjoy a range of different photo styles, from wide angle to telephoto.

The new Casio Exilim EX-Z200 also features the Auto Shutter function, which enables users to take the picture just at the moment of a lovely smile or at the instant that hand shake ceases. The high resolution, 10.1 Megapixel Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z200 features an EXILIM series first – a 4x optical zoom lens that can shoot as wide as 28 mm (equivalent).

Also, in addition to the usual recognition technologies, the intelligence of these cameras has been enhanced. They incorporate automatic scene differentiation and allow the shutter to be released automatically, thanks to Casio’s commitment to keep improving the convenience offered by digital cameras. This allows zoom photography between 28 mm and 112 mm (35 mm film camera equivalent). This increases photographic enjoyment, from wide angle photography suitable for capturing large subjects or shooting up close in small spaces, right through to telephoto work. The new thinner, smaller body was made possible without sacrificing high resolution image quality using a newly developed 1/2.3 inch CCD. The high resolution images can be used to create beautiful prints even when enlarged or when the image is cropped.

The Casio EX-Z200 employs an anti shake function that compensates for blur by moving the imaging element. Of course, both models incorporate Anti Shake DSP, which reduces blur by raising the camera’s sensitivity and therefore increasing shutter speeds. It incorporates Casio’s newly developed Super Clear LCD. This produces extremely sharp and vivid images, thanks to its high contrast ratio and its 230,160 dot high resolution. The display can be viewed easily from above, below, left or right thanks to its wide viewing angle, and it is extremely bright, making it easy to see even in daylight.

The new Casio Z200 camera can automatically analyze the scene to be captured and choose an appropriate shooting mode. The six scenes that can be distinguished are: people, scenery, night scenes, night scenes with people, close-ups, and moving subjects. This digital camera was also designed to be very user-friendly, and it is easy to quickly change to another shooting mode associated with the scene type that the camera recognizes. The camera utilizes the H.264 video standard, which lets users record beautiful movies with the latest high compression technology. Users can enjoy wide format movies in a 16:9 aspect ratio. This digital camera also features a Movie Button for easy movie recording.

TrustedReviews writes:
“This digital camera has many good points. It is well made, easy to use, has a number of very useful and technically advanced features including an effective mechanical image stabilisation system, and it is very competitively priced….”
Rating: ★★★½☆

Steve’sDigicams writes:
“The quality from our outdoor shots was pretty good. The exposures were descent, but slightly overexposed in some of the clouds. ..Our indoor quality was also pretty good. The auto white balance did an excellent job maintaining natural looking colors…We feel this camera is worthy of your consideration. ”
Rating: N/A

Unbeatable writes:
“It’s a very compact and easy to use digital camera with great menu options and excellent features. The performance did let it down slightly but if you’re not too fussed about slight flaws in your images then this camera is great especially if you mainly use it to upload still or videos to the net.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

CNET.uk writes:
“Image quality was good, if not as crisp as we would like. Depending on your taste, you might consider increasing the in-camera sharpening. Optical image stabilisation made a definite difference, which distinguishes the Z200 from other point-and-shoots that don’t yet include this feature. ”
Rating: ★★★★☆

InfoSync writes:
“the Casio EX-Z200’s noise management is as good as could be expected, considering its higher pixel-count. ISO-50 is functionally noiseless. Noise isn’t readily perceivable at full zoom until ISO-200, and it isn’t notable sub-100% zoom until ISO-800, but it is considerably dense at ISO-1600. ”

The Casio Z150 camera is available not only in silver and black, but also in colorful red, pink, and green.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z150 offers all the premium functionality you would expect in a much bigger digital camera, including a CCD-shift anti-shake function and face detection technology. The Casio Z150 also features a large 3.0 inch LCD monitor, a first for this series, making it even easier to compose shots and adding to the fun of viewing the images taken.

Casio camera – High sensitivity and Resolution
The new Exilim Zoom EX-Z150 features the Anti Shake DSP, which reduces blurring caused by shaking hands or moving subjects, while the Auto Macro and Quick Shutter functions ensure that photos are properly focused. High Sensitivity Mode produces clear shots with a bright background without the flash, even when lighting is dim. The Casio Exilim EX-Z150 features 8.1 Megapixel resolution and 32 scene BEST SHOT function located on a convenient mode dial. For enhanced user-friendliness, the mode dial and easy mode menu use simple icon images that make picture taking a snap for beginner digital camera users.

Casio Exilim EX-Z150 digicam – Optical zoom and Trimming
The combination of the 28 mm wide-angle design and 4x optical zoom makes the EX-Z150 the perfect companion for every occasion – you have plenty of scope to take photos, be it of your loved ones, beautiful sights or romantic sunsets. Whether you’re in a small room, a car or on a ferris wheel – the 28 mm focal distance enables you to capture a larger area, allowing you to snap more of your friends for posterity in a close-up group photo, and much more. With trimming you can define sections of a photo while they are still in the camera and save them as separate shots. And so, for example, you can just cut a person’s face and print it out as a photo – even without a computer.

Casio Z150 digital camera – Face detection and YouTube
Whether you’re on holiday, at a party or spending time with your family – people are particularly popular subjects for a photo. It’s always a pity when faces turn out blurred on a picture. The Face Detection function now offers the perfect solution, recognizing the individual faces or even entire groups, and automatically applying the best possible setting. It has never been easier to upload your own videos to YouTube: With the Casio EX-Z150, you can film your most memorable moments directly in a video size and quality optimized for YouTube! The exclusive software makes uploading your videos to YouTube child’s play.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z85 camera delivers high performance with a compact, stylish look. This high performing model with 9.1 million effective pixels takes high definition photographs. The Casio Z85 features a stylish design contained within a compact size. Body measurements for the EX-Z85 are 89.7mm wide by 51.7mm high by 19.0mm thick.

Users can choose their preferred option from six different colors (black, chocolate, cinnamon, rose, sky blue and olive) as the color for the menu screens. The Casio Z85 uses the H.264 video format, which records beautiful, high quality movies in highly compressed video files. When the Movie button is pressed, the camera records widescreen movies with an aspect ratio of 16:9. This camera comes with a highly visible 2.6 inch widescreen display. Information on camera settings is displayed in the “Control Panel” on the right hand edge of the screen, so settings can be changed quickly and easily.

In addition to the standard body colors, this camera comes in a rich variety of expressive colors such as vivid pink (available in a total of eight colors: silver, black, vivid pink, pink, blue, green, brown and orange). In addition to the usual rectangular focus frame that is indicated on the LCD monitor, users can choose from frame designs featuring a heart shape or a butterfly, for example. When the scene is properly focused, a clear heart shape is displayed, and when the scene is out of focus the heart shape breaks up. This makes it easy to see when the picture is in focus, and users will enjoy it, too.

Using blur detection technology, the Casio EX-Z85 can automatically take a photo the instant that hand shake or subject movement stops, even without the need to push the shutter button. This reduces photo blur caused by the movement involved in pressing the shutter. The camera will also automatically release the shutter at the moment of a smile or the moment subject blur ceases in a panning shot. A shot can also be taken the moment the user’s face fills the frame when taking a self-portrait.

The Face Recognition function allows users to detect the presence of up to 10 people’s faces, and then, prior to shooting, the camera automatically recognizes the pre-registered face or faces that should be most clearly photographed, and gives those faces priority for correct focus and exposure. The settings menu in the easy mode has been pared down to just three items – flash, self timer and image size – making it easy for even beginners to understand and use.

“It is incredibly compact, solidly made, very easy to use and has excellent all-round performance.

The 9.1 effective megapixels of Casio Exilim Z250 digital camera delivers beautiful high resolution images and outstanding functionality made possible by a new Casio imaging engine for high speed image processing. The Casio Z250 combines high resolution and high speed image processing to produce beautiful photos of people and night scenes.

The new Casio Z250 is a high resolution model, and it boasts excellent resolving power, offering precise, smooth rendering of images. The image processing speed and power of Casio’s new engine make possible entirely new functions that deliver fantastic photos of people’s faces, night scenes and other subjects that have challenged photographers for years. The Casio Z250 automatically detects and corrects for difficult situations, such as night scene photography where camera shake could be a problem, or backlit subjects where faces often come out too dark.

Casio EX-Z250 captures beautiful portraits
This all means that users get great, well-balanced photos of family and friends against any background with no more worry than it takes to press the shutter button. The Casio EX-Z250 digital camera also features a Makeup function that creates beautiful photographs of people’s faces: high end image processing can smooth skin and soften facial shadows caused by sunlight. The photographer gets to choose to apply such image processing at one of twelve levels, from weak through strong, and can shoot while checking the results of the effects in the LCD monitor. At last, a camera that brings out all the beauty of the human face, creating images worthy of keeping forever as special memories.

Casio Exilim Z250 renders smooth images with less noise

The Casio Z250 is a high quality digital camera with excellent functionality that allows users to take beautiful pictures of people’s faces and night scenes.

Thanks to Casio’s original image processing technologies, this camera achieves an extremely precise, smooth rendering of high-resolution images, reducing a great deal of noise in pictures taken at high sensitivity levels. This is the result of Casio’s pursuit of the beautiful image quality that users expect from a camera with very high resolution.

Casio Exilim Engine 3.0
This is an image processing module that packages a new, dedicated high speed image processing CPU (central processing unit) with the high performance CPU used to date. Digital cameras are constantly developing and evolving new levels of “beautiful imagery” and “convenient shooting functions.” This new module quickly processes complex images, making it possible for customers to shoot and view wonderful photos with simplicity and ease.

Tele photo shooting and Night scenes on the Casio Z250
The lens zooms from 28mm to 112mm (35mm film camera equivalent). Users can enjoy a wide range of shooting options, from wide angle photography that is convenient when shooting large objects or many people in a small space, to telephoto shooting which brings distant subjects close. The Casio Exilim Z250 can automatically detect night situations where there would normally be camera shake if a tripod wasn’t used. Users get clear, bright photographs of both people and night scenes as the camera compensates for camera shake.

HIGH SPEED MOVIE
Video Capture at up to 1,000 fps
The Casio Exilim EX-FH25 is the next evolution of digital imaging. This feature allows you to easily shoot ultra slow-motion movies at speeds that have until now been available only on professional level cameras. Imagine capturing dramatic moments that cannot be seen by the naked eye, making the invisible visible.

Settings for 210fps, 420fps and variable 30-210fps are also included with the camera. While 30-210fps is selected, you can toggle the movie recording speed between 30fps and 210fps, giving you the versatility to match recording speed to the action.

HIGH SPEED BURST
Up to 40 fps at full resolution
The EX-FH25 can shoot at an amazing 40 frames per second in High Speed Burst mode. This allows you to capture up to 40 images with a single press of the button. After the images have been taken you simply save one, two or all of the images to capture the perfect moment.

20X OPTICAL ZOOM
Incredible zoom with digital stabilization
20X optical zoom combines with a CMOS shift stabilization for beautiful images even at high zoom factors where images are prone to blurring.

FLASH CONTINUOUS SHOOTING
Continuous shutter even where lighting is dim
An ultra wide angle 26mm lens reaching to 520mm allows a wide range of capture options. An Ultra wide angle lens allows for capture of grand vistas, or confined interior shots with not much room to maneuver. Its 20X long zoom with anti-shake will reach out to bring subjects into full view without the need for cumbersome tripods.

BACK ILLUMINATED CMOS
Metal wiring compromising the effectiveness of the light-sensitive area was moved to the back of the photo sensor, thus increasing the light gathering efficiency of the sensor. The result is increased light sensitivity and faster shutter speeds in low light situations, resulting in a more pleasing picture quality.

PRERECORD CS
High-speed recording of action that occurs before you press the shutter button
The EX-FH25 allows you to capture the perfect moment even if you press the button too late. With the amazing pre-record function the camera begins taking pictures before you fully press the button giving you the ability to virtually travel back in time so that you never miss the action. This function works by storing up to 40 images in a buffer on the camera. When the button is pressed the images in the buffer are saved along with your newly recorded imagery.

HIGH-DEFINITION MOVE
DVD-quality video
The EX-FH25 lets you shoot beautiful 1280 x 720-pixel HD movies at a rate of 30 frames per second. After your video is recorded you can view it by connecting your camera directly to a Full HD TV for big screen viewing. The EX-FH25 also comes with USB cables and software that allows you to view your HD films on your computer or to burn them to a DVD.

BEST SHOT CONTINUOUS
Casio’s exclusive Pre-Record Mode begins recording images with a half-press of the shutter. When you’re ready to capture action, press the shutter fully and High Speed Technology starts a Continuous Burst Mode that continues recording after the shutter button has been fully depressed. Now Casio combined both modes into fully automated and easy to use Best Shot scene modes. Pick your scene type and you’ll never miss a shot due to shutter lag ever again!

FACE DETECTION
Put a better face on your images with automatic Face Detection technology. Our camera adjusts instantly for optimum focus and background even if your subject is backlit or in front of a patterned backdrop. Moving targets? No problem. The camera will capture kids and pets on the go in the sharpest detail.

“Even without these extras, the EX-FH25 proved itself a capable camera in testing, producing images of good quality in a wide range of conditions. If this camera ticks all the boxes for features, then the £300 price tag should represent good value for you.”

Steves-digicams reviews writes:
“Video can be captured on the FH25 in two different ways. You can capture standard video with sound at standard 480p and 720p resolutions (30fps). These movies produce good exposure and color with little compression noise. The playback is fairly smooth and easy to watch. The camera’s built-in mic is very sensitive and will pick up all sounds that are around the camera.”

Pocket-lint reviews writes:
“There’s the choice of shooting full resolution, Fine quality JPEGs or Fine JPEGs plus RAW; the latter option only selectable outside of the BestShot or full auto modes. With a half press of the shutter release button there’s a brief pause while the FH25 determines focus and exposure, followed by imperceptible shutter lag as you go on to take the shot.. Colours are realistically rendered, though we did find white balance drifting from shot to shot when shooting daylight interiors, and pixel fringing in evidence if looking closely at areas of high contrast.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

CNET.uk reviews the writes:
“With the Exilim EX-FH25, Casio’s produced a camera that excels at capturing fast-moving action in a way that no other superzoom can. It has a decent lens that produces above-average sharpness at long range, too. There are a few faults, but none which seriously detract from the camera’s overall appeal.”

The Casio Exilim S200 digital camera sports advanced features in a slim, compact and stylish body, including a Single Frame SR Zoom that extends the zoom range. The new Casio EX-S200 camera makes use of the Exilim Engine 5.0 and super resolution technology to take photos with exceptional clarity and resolution.

The is a slim, high-quality, card-sized camera that is just 17.8 mm thick and only 14.9 mm at its thinnest part. This camera sports a 4X optical zoom lens that starts at a 27 mm wide-angle view (35 mm film camera equivalent) and is capable of taking images with an effective resolution of 14.1 megapixels, while packing numerous other camera features such as Casio’s CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism in a slim, compact and stylish body.

The Exilim S200 is described as a lifestyle camera by Casio, due to the inclusion of features to aid ease of use and due to it’s slim, compact dimensions.

A 14 megapixel CCD sensor lies at the heart of the EX-S200, which should provide images with ample resolution for very large prints. A 4x zoom lens covering a useful range equivalent to 27-108mm does the job of forming an image, and image stabilisation is taken care of by a CCD shift mechanism, which should allow sharp images to be taken at slower shutter speeds. To extend the zoom range further, Casio have included a feature which reduces the resolution once the zoom has reached it’s telephoto limit, rather than upsampling the image like traditional digital zoom system do. This should give very little loss of quality in practice.

Premium Auto enables the camera to automatically analyze the scene being photographed – including distinguishing night scenes, back lighting, a blue sky, green trees or a sunset – as well as sensing whether there is a face in the frame, the movement and position of the subject, and whether a tripod is being used. It simultaneously optimizes settings for exposure, ISO, sensitivity, focus location, photo blur correction, tonal range and color balance, and level of noise reduction. Images are analyzed pixel by pixel to apply different correction to people and backgrounds. Premium Auto delivers an advanced level of full auto photography, ensuring high quality photos with just a press of the shutter button.

This camera uses a flat lens barrel and lens ring to achieve a thin and stylish card-sized body that smoothly combines contrasting geometric shapes.

The new Casio camera was designed with an emphasis on functionality and simplicity, achieving a design that is at once elegant and understated. This digital camera comes in five different colors: silver, orange, blue, black, and pink. The Quick Mode function powers on the camera with a press of the shutter button, previews a photo after shooting, and automatically powers down. Combined with the portability of the card-sized body, Quick Mode ensures that the user will never miss a photo opportunity.

The Casio S200 camera offers Casio’s original Dynamic Photo function, which makes it easy for users to create “moving photos” right on the camera by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting, and combining those images on a different still or moving image background. With Dynamic Photo on the new Casio camera, it is possible to make multiple characters move independently of each other against a background of moving images up to as long as 20 seconds. These capabilities not only make it more fun to create images, but also offer the fun of sharing images by making it easy to upload images to YouTube using the included software or post them to a blog.

This digital camera uses super resolution technology to analyze and optimally process the respective areas of the photo.

The S200 camera uses super resolution technology to respectively enhance edges, flat areas and textures when enlarging images, by analyzing and adjusting the contours in images and the relief of the subject. The Single Frame SR Zoom extends the maximum telephoto range of the optical zoom up to 1.5 times, while reducing image quality degradation. The Casio Exilim EX-S200 offers a 6X zoom range that maintains image quality for 14.1-megapixel high-resolution photography when using the optical zoom with the Single Frame SR Zoom.

“The EX-S200 produces images with no significant noise up to ISO200, where a little noise starts to creep into the shadows, but the levels are still quite low and won’t really affect the quality of printed images. A 14 megapixel sensor as found in the EX-200 will be quite demanding on the quality of the lens.“
The Casio EX-Z800 camera makes use of the Exilim Engine 5.0 and super resolution technology to take photos with exceptional clarity and resolution.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z800 is compact enough to fit in the palm of the hand. The Casio EX-Z800 sports a 4X optical zoom lens that starts at a 27 mm wide-angle view (35 mm film camera equivalent) and is capable of taking images with an effective resolution of 14.1 megapixels, while packing numerous other camera features such as Casio’s CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism in a slim, compact and stylish body.

The EX-Z800 has everything you need in any situation and guarantees outstanding photos.

The lens, LCD monitor and buttons of the Casio EX-Z800 are flat to achieve a compact body that fits the contours of the hand. The Casio Exilim EX-Z800 comes in six different colors, ranging from basic black and silver to vivid pink, red, yellow, and blue. The polished finish of the camera gives it an elegant yet dynamic look. The new Casio camera features dedicated Shoot, View and Delete buttons that provide access to each of the basic operations of a digital camera, so that even beginners will find the digital camera easy to use. Casio’s unique Dynamic Photo function creates composite moving images, making it possible to have multiple characters moving independently of each other against a background of moving images up to as long as 20 seconds. The Art Effect function takes saved images and makes them look like artwork. These features make it possible to enjoy photos in a way that is only possible with a Casio digital camera.

The Casio Z800 camera offers Casio’s original Dynamic Photo function, which makes it easy for users to create “moving photos” right on the camera by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting, and combining those images on a different still or moving image background.

Ephotozine reviews the Casio EX-Z800 and writes:
“I found the EX-Z800 to be quite a responsive camera, focusing quickly in most conditions. The face detection system works very well also, locking onto faces in the scene very swiftly. Images have pleasing contrast and color saturation in most cases, making them ideal for print straight from the camera. The image quality only degrades further as the ISO is increased, but results are still fair until ISO1600“
