The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM is a high performance, water-resistant, and ultra wide-angle Canon L-series lens. The Canon EF 16-35 has been specifically designed for improved edge-to-edge image quality that will meet the strict requirements of professional and high-end amateur photographers.

The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM features 2 UD and 3 types of aspherical elements that reduce aberrations for outstanding image quality.
The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM is a wonderful ultra-wide zoom lens. Broaden your perspective with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens. Specifically designed for improved edge-to-edge image quality that meets the strict requirements of professional and high-end amateur photographers alike, the Canon EF 16-35 lens lets you bring more area into focus while providing greater depth of field.

It features 3 high-precision aspherical lens elements, each of a different type: ground, replica and GMO. The circular aperture produces a beautiful and natural background blur when shooting at wider apertures. Other features include internal focusing, a ring type USM (Ultra Sonic Monitor), and new AF algorithms for fast and quiet auto focusing.

An ultra-wide angle, the Canon EF 16-35 is a very high grade quality lens, which is constructed extremely solidly, measures 3.5″ x 4.4″ and weighs in at about 1.4 lb. This large 82mm filter size is a first for Canon EF Lenses, not shareable on other Canon lenses without the addition of a stepping ring. Being a super size and weight for comfortable use and easy handling the quality makes it a good choice. Fully sealed against dust and moisture, when a filter is in place, the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM does not change in size, with its inner barrel extending.

Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM key features:
• Higher image quality at wide-angle end, enhancing optical performance, resolution and contrast
• 2 UD and 3 types of aspherical elements reduce aberrations for outstanding image quality

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II is an excellent lens for people who prefer a fixed focal length. The Canon EF 50mm offers a fast f/1.8 aperture.

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II at a mere 4.6 ounces, the lens boasts a traditional Gauss-type optical design that delivers a sharp performance even when wide open.
Lightweight and affordable, the Canon EF 50 lens has Gaussian optics that provides sharp delineation from near to far focusing distances. The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens provides an image that’s extremely close to how your eye perceives a subject, making it excellent for portraits and images that require a natural depth of field.

In addition, the lens focuses as close as 18 inches, helping you take extreme close-ups. Finally, the the Canon EF 50 lens offers an excellent color balance. As with all Canon lenses, the lens carries a one-year warranty.
This is the lightest Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens of all at a mere 4.6 oz. (130g). The Canon EF 50 is a compact and high-performance, standard lens. The color balance is excellent for a standard lens. The lens uses a linear extension system for focusing (similar to extension tubes) so the length of the lens changes according to the focus distance. The front element does not rotate during focusing. The minimal focus distance is 0.45m resulting in a max. magnification of 0.15x (~1:7). Manual focusing feels Ok. The focus ring, positioned at the very front, is very narrow so it’s not really convenient.

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II optical construction is made of just 6 elements in 5 groups without any special elements (not needed at this focal length). The the Canon EF 50 lens features 5 aperture blades. The filter size is 52mm. At just 130g it is an ultra light-weight lens and with a dimension of 68x41mm it’s also extremely compact. The build quality is sufficient to say it positive.

The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Lens is sharp in the center at f/2.8 at all focal lengths.

The Canon 24-70 easily beats Canon consumer zooms (such as the Canon EF 24-85 Zoom Lens and the Canon EF 28-135 IS Zoom Lens) in direct sharpness and contrast comparisons.

This new Canon 24-70 lens does what many pros thought couldn’t be done – replace the previous L-series 28-70 f/2.8 lens with something even better. Extended coverage to an ultra-wide-angle 24mm makes the Canon 24-70 ideal for digital as well as film shooters, and the optics are even better than before with two Aspherical elements and a totally new UD glass element.

Sporting a red Canon L series lens ring, the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM Lens’ build and mechanical quality are top of the line. The solid Canon EF 24-70 focuses quietly and very fast thanks to Ring USM (Ultrasonic Motor) that also facilitates FTM (Full-Time Manual) focusing. Focus and zoom rings are nicely-sized and operate smoothly. Weather sealing (when attached to a weather sealed body) completes the physical quality package.

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM key features:
• Improved Auto focus speed over it’s predecessor
• 2 Aspherical elements for high image quality through the zoom range
• 1 UD element to effectively correct chromatic aberration at wide angle
• Highly effective dust and moisture protection
• Class leading minimum focus distance of only 38cm
• Non-rotating front element during focus

The Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens boasting the superb build, mechanical and optical quality found in the Canon L-Series Lenses and a widely used range of focal lengths. The Canon EF 24-105mm is the perfect partner lens for the EOS 5D camera.

Canon EF 24-105mm IS lens is easy-to-use standard zoom lens can cover a large zoom area ranging from 24mm wide-angle to 105mm portrait-length telephoto, and its Image Stabilizer Technology steadies camera shake up to three stops.

Constructed with one Super-UD glass element and three spherical lenses, this lens minimizes chromatic aberration and distortion. The result is excellent picture quality, even at wide apertures. Canon’s ring-type USM gives silent but quick AF, along with full-time manual focus. Moreover, with dust- and moisture-resistant construction, this is a durable yet sophisticated lens that meets the demands of advanced amateur photographers and professional photographers alike.

The Canon EF 24-105mm IS USM lens a lightweight with Image Stabilizer.
Just and moisture resistant and incorporating Canon’s very finest standards of precision optics, the Canon EF 24-105 is designed for reportage, event, travel and celebrity photographers looking for a lightweight and maneuverable lens with minimal image quality compromise.
The Canon EF 24-105mm IS is designed for professional photographers requiring a light zoom lens with a fixed aperture throughout the zoom range. The Canon EF 24-105 has Image Stabilizer (IS) dramatically reduces image blur caused by camera shake. Gyro sensors detect unwanted vibrations, triggering the corresponding movement of a correcting lens group perpendicular to the optical axis. The 3 stop advantage means that photographers normally shooting a 105mm lens handheld at 1/125 sec can obtain a shake free result with a shutter speed as low as 1/15 sec, for vastly extended options in low light conditions.

The ring-type USM motor found in the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM employs ultra-sonic frequency vibrations to drive auto focus with unrivaled speed and near-silent operation. A powerful CPU and improved AF algorithm contribute to speed performance. Good holding torque stops the lens with precision and accuracy, the instant it arrives at the correct focus point and without overshoot. Photographers can choose manual focus instantly and at any time simply by moving the manual focus ring without first having to switch out of auto focus mode.

The Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM offers the highest possible optical quality with no change in aperture over the full focal range of the lens.
It is the perfect lens for professional photographers looking for a lightweight and extended zoom alternative to its EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM counterpart. To limit lens size and improve image clarity over the total image area, an Ultra-Low Dispersion glass (UD) element is used to eliminate the secondary chromatic aberrations that otherwise reduce sharpness and introduce color fringing. Spherical lens elements correct spherical aberration for crisp, high contrast corner-to-corner quality. By increasing light absorption, coatings reduce reflections off lens element surfaces to deliver crisp, undistorted images with natural color balance.

The EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM includes distance metering information, providing compatibility with the E-TTL II flash system of late model cameras such as the EOS-1D Mark II N and EOS 5D. When used in conjunction with Canon’s range of EX Speedlite flash units, the lens passes distance information to the flash algorithm for markedly improved flash exposure metering. To match the weather resistance afforded by EOS-1 professional camera bodies, an O-ring seals the lens against the lens mount and numerous seals around the lens’ moving components provide protection against the ingress of dust and moisture.

The Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM is a standard zoom lens. The Canon EFS 17-55mm IS features a large circular aperture that produces a shallow depth of field.

The Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM designed specifically for the dimensions of a ‘cropped sensor’ (1.6x crop) and hence can be made smaller than a 35 mm equivalent lens.

The Canon EF-S 17-55 features a maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the zoom range which means it’s a faster alternative to other EF-S lenses. On an EOS 30D this lens would provide a 27.2-88mm equivalent field of view.

The Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM fits exclusively on those EOS cameras with an EF–S lens mount the new EOS 30D, EOS 350D, and earlier EOS 20D and 300D models.

The 1.6x multiplication effect of these cameras’ APS-C size sensor gives the lens an effective focal length of approximately 27-88mm.

To improve image clarity over the total image area, two Ultra-Low Dispersion glass (UD) elements are employed to eliminate secondary chromatic aberrations that otherwise reduce sharpness and introduce color fringing. To ensure crisp, high contrast from one corner of the frame to the other, two spherical lens elements have been introduced to avoid spherical aberrations that can soften images, especially at wider apertures. In combination with digital EOS CMOS sensor and DIGIC II image processor technologies, the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM delivers image quality surpassing that required for many commercial applications.

Superb optical quality of the Canon EF-S 17-55 with no change in aperture over the full focal length range allows photographers to set exposure at the widest aperture and concentrate on framing, without concern for adjusting shutter speed at longer focal lengths. The Canon EF-S 17-55 features Canon’s latest 3-stop Image Stabilizer (IS) for dramatically reduced image blur caused by camera shake. IS significantly extends scope for shooting in low light conditions without flash, or for gaining depth of field. The 3-stop advantage allows a photographer shooting in low light to use a shutter speed of just 1/15 sec instead of 1/125, with no perceptible increase in image blur.

The lens’ USM motor employs ultrasonic frequency vibrations to drive auto focus with speed and near-silent operation. The constant torque motor moves the focus group at high speed, stopping with precision, accuracy and without overshoot the instant the lens arrives at the correct focus point. Photographers can switch to manual focus instantly and at any time simply by moving the manual focus ring without first having to switch out of auto focus mode. By increasing light absorption, coatings reduce reflections off Canon EF-S 17-55 lens element surfaces to deliver crisp, undistorted images with natural color balance. Image Stabilizer works by using gyro sensors and circuitry to detect and measure unwanted vibrations. Unwanted movement is corrected fast enough to suppress effectively the vibrations of moving vehicles and aircraft such as helicopters.
