The Fujifilm FinePix S1500 is a superzoom digital camera ideal for advanced amateur photographers. With Fuji S1500 photographers have total control with manual adjustment options for various camera settings including resolution, ISO, aperture, shutter speed and more.
The Fujifilm Finepix S1500 has additional features including sensor-shift image stabilisation, scene recognition and tracking AF, as well as some minor image quality tweaks make the S1500 a worthwhile upgrade over the S1000fd. Its compact size, decent build quality and comfortable handling make it a capable and versatile all-rounder and a good value alternative to more expensive travel cameras.
The Fujifilm S1500 offers full manual photographic control for the more experienced user, and Automatic Scene Recognition mode for beginners which recognizes six types of scene automatically and sets the appropriate exposure, focus, white balance and ISO. The Fujifilm S1500 is a new super-zoom digital compact camera that looks and feels like a DSLR.
The fuji finepix S1500 captures video with audio up to 640 x 480 resolution at 30 frames per second. Movie recording will stop automatically when the movie file size becomes approx. 2GB. Expect to get around 79mins recording time in highest quality on a 4GB SDHC memory card. Optical or digital zoom will function during movie recording.
