I remember that in my early days as a photographic sales person we would get a few calls a month requesting Gerber binoculars, we used to say “Gerber binoculars who the hell are they” well the fact of the matter is, they’re damn good! We all know the Germans have the ultimate history in optics and Gerber binoculars are German, I know what you’re thinking, say the words German and binoculars in the same sentence and you’re talking big money with the likes of Zeiss and Leica costing anywhere from $1000-$2000 or more is putting German quality out of the price range of most, but then there’s Gerber binoculars, German quality at a fraction of the cost, so we thought we would post this little article because we don’t think such a fantastic buy, should be such a big secret.

GERBER OPTICAL SUPPLIES is an Australian-owned family company. In the time since our establishment in July 1977, we have grown to be one of the largest wholesale suppliers of Consumer Optical products in the Australian market.
Our Binoculars & Spottingscopes can be found in Outdoor Leisure, Photographic, Optical, Marine & Duty Free retail outlets throughout Australia, and since September 2007 in New Zealand as well (GERBER models only), through our Distributors FOCAL HOLDINGS LTD., Auckland.
