The JVC GZ-HM200 records full HD 1920 x 1080 video onto dual SD cards. This technology allows video to be continuously recorded from one card to the other. The absence of a hard drive makes the JVC GZ-HM200 among the lightest HD camcorders available. With the bundled software package, video can be directly exported into the iTunes library, thus making the video available for viewing on an iPod or iPhone. Along with the easy archiving and disc burning feature common to past Everio camcorders, a simple YouTube uploading tool is also available in the software package.
The KONICA MINOLTA HD lens and 2.7″ LCD help by giving you a lens specially designed for capturing HD video and a wide display on which to compose and playback your video. Let’s not forget the AVCHD UXP mode with a bit rate of up to 24Mbps, for improved clarity and detail.
The JVC Everio GZ-HM200 is also equipped with HDMI V.1.3 with x.v.Color. Among the colors that the human eye can see, x.v.Color technology, based on the xvYCC color standard, can display 100 percent compared to about 55 percent with sRGB. So when connected to an x.v.Color compatible HDTV, the pristine world of high definition can be enjoyed to its fullest.

The KONICA MINOLTA HD Lens is specially designed for capturing Full HD video and stills and features a 20x optical zoom, which brings far off subjects up-close with virtually no loss in image quality.

The LCD on the JVC GZ-HM200 provides a 16:9 display on which to compose and playback video and stills. JVC’s improved Laser Touch Operation system lets you navigate the camera’s basic controls and menu selections on the side and bottom of the screen.
