The JVC Everio GZ-MG630 is a member of the Everio G Series Camcorders and is the cheapest of the three 2009 members of the line. The JVC GZ-MG630 features a 1/6-inch 800,000-pixel CCD image sensor that is supported by a 40x dynamic zoom magnification that uses all of the CCD pixels without any degradation of the picture quality.

The JVC Everio GZ-MG630 is an ultra-compact Hard Drive camcorder that also allows recording into MicroSD and MicroSDHC cards for extended storage capacity. With the JVC GZ-MG630 it’s actually possible to record up to 75 hours of video footage on the hard drive alone!

The JVC GZ-MG630 also uses a Konica Minolta lens with a 40x dynamic zoom and 800x digital zoom. Dynamic zoom achieves up to 40x magnification by using nearly all of the CCD’s effective pixels without any picture quality degradation.

For sharing, the JVC Everio GZ-MG630 makes it easy to watch videos on an iPod or iPhone by exporting videos to the user’s iTunes library with the new One Touch Export function provided by bundled software for Windows. This joins the One Touch Upload function for uploading to YouTube, for 2009 a feature available on all Everio camcorders, and One Touch DVD Creation function for easy archiving and sharing by disc, a long-time Everio feature.

The JVC GZ-MG630 has a 60GB Hard Disk Drive and can handle a microSD or a SDHC card to add on extra space to its already formidable hard drive or make it easy to transfer video from multiple devices.
